It's been a long time since the OuiShare adventure also began in Italy. The last year has been very active: since July 2012, when we hosted the first Ouishare Drink in Rome, Italy has in fact hosted four more Ouishare drinks (in Turin, Florence, Milan and Padua) and a Ouishare Talk with Joe Justice. Rome was also where the second Ouishare Summit took place in 2012. [caption id="attachment_9545" align="alignright" width="460"]
A picture from Rome Summit in 2012[/caption] On countless occasions I also had the opportunity to publicly speak on the subject of the collaborative economy, many times bringing the opportunity to discuss with other organizations and devise potential projects and initiatives. However, in this last year, perhaps because of the many things to do and always changing priorities, I have not been able to create a true Italian team, to generate a group of OuiSharerers that, in Italy, work together to create something stable and new. Don’t get me wrong: there have been and still are important contributions, such as that of Tomas, who participated in the great organizational effort of Ouishare Fest, or the help that Gabriella, Silvia, Chiara, Francesco, Jacopo or Mattia gave us, not to mention the contributions of Stefano, always precious. What’s missing now is a group effort, a common plan and coordination. Today the collaborative economy is a great source of knowledge and bubbling vitality. Ouishare represents an opportunity that is immersed in the reality of a difficult macroeconomic environment, in which - outside the perspective of the so called Sharing Economy - it is actually very difficult to catch a glimpse of optimism and new possibilities. For these reasons, I would like to call to arms all of you who care about the shared and collaborative economy, and would like to drive forward its affirmation in the Italian peninsula. In parallel, let’s add some Italian dates to the European Ouishare Tour that is starting soon and will go through the rest of 2013: some dates are already being defined, so take the chance to bring OuiShare to your city: reach out to us! Da parecchio tempo ormai che l’avventura di ouishare è iniziata anche in italia e nell’ultimo anno siamo stati abbastanza attivi. A partire da Luglio dello scorso anno, quando tenemmo il primo Ouishare Drink a Roma , l’italia ha infatti ospitato ben altri quattro drink (Torino, Firenze, Milano, Padova), un Ouishare Talk con Joe Justce e Roma è stata persino il teatro del secondo Ouishare Summit. In innumerevoli occasioni inoltre, ho avuto modo personalmente di intervenire sul tema dell’economia collaborativa e molte sono state le opportunità di discutere con altre organizzazioni e ideare potenziali progetti e iniziative. Tuttavia, in questo ultimo anno, complice forse le tante cose da fare e le priorità sempre in discussione non sono riuscito a creare un vero team italiano, a generare a un gruppo di ouisharerers che, in Italia, lavorassero insieme per creare qualcosa di stabile e nuovo. Non fraintendetemi: ci sono stati e ci sono tuttora contributi importanti, come quello di Tomas, che ha partecipato al grande sforzo organizzativo della Ouishare Fest, o l’aiuto che Gabriella, Silvia, Chiara, Francesco, Mattia o Jacopo ci ha dato, per non parlare del contributi di Stefano, sempre prezioso; tuttavia ciò che è mancato è un lavoro di gruppo, un piano comune e una coordinazione. Oggi l’economia collaborativa e questa grande fonte di conoscenza e di scoppiettante vitalità che è Ouishare, rappresenta una opportunità imperdible, immersa in un contesto macroeconomico veramente difficoltoso, dove - al di fuori della prospettiva della Sharing Economy - è effettivamente molto difficile intravedere ottimismo e nuove possibilità. Per questo in questi giorni voglio lanciare a tutti voi che avete a cuore l’affermazione di una nuova economia, condivisa e collaborativa, anche in Italia, una chiamata alle armi.
