Collaborative Economy in Italia! Join the Sharitaly Conference in Milan

On November 29 one of the first conferences in Italy called Sharitaly

will bring together important actors of the Italian Collaborative Economy in Milan. OuiShare is a partner and Connector Simone Cicero is facilitating a workshop.

This conference was mainly organized by Collaboriamo.org , a website born from the Marta Mainieri’s passion and experience in writing the “Collaboriamo” book last year: collaboriamo.org represents, in fact the best effort to now in mapping the Italian Sharing Economy (especially the world of Italian consumption startup).

Partners of the initiative were the Catholic University of Milan and Eni’s Enrico Mattei Foundation. Sharitaly will see the participation, further than mine and that of the excellent organizers, of April Rinne - Chief Strategy Officer of Collaborative Lab – and international thought leaders on the Sharing Economy that also formerly organized the OuiShare Fest Public Policy Jam earlier this May. The event will be open to the public and will be divided into two main parts: in the morning, a series of keynotes will focus on the state of collaborative economy in Italy, in particular on the following themes: "Italians and the collaborative economy ", "The state of Italian collaborative start-ups scene" and "Citizens and companies: the relationship of collaboration". This session will likely give, I think, a good first overview of the phenomenon in its entirety in Italy and will be interesting to attend. In the afternoon, after an introduction by April Rinne, the focus of the meeting will be to trigger a dialogue between startups, large enterprises and public administrations, with an eye on civil society. One of the basic questions today in Italy is precisely that of facilitating the birth of new opportunities that may arise between actors who, consciously or not, are interested in or impacted by this phenomenon. Surely Sharitaly will represent a first step in this direction. In a series of thematic workshops, companies, start- ups and other representatives of society, broken down by sector and issues of interest, will discuss the issues of finance, labor , mobility, lifestyle and non-profit and will discuss the meaning and value that "collaboration " could have in these contexts. Note that workshops are open to the public, but only as long as spaces are available. Therefore you can pre-register and so that your participation will be confirmed beforehand. If you are interested in the cooperative economy and you’re in Milan or just ready to reach the city, you should register and support the crowdfunding campaign that Sharitaly is pursuing to allow free access to the conference and workshops. As always OuiShare supports initiatives that relate to the debate on the Collaborative Economy and is ready to create links and bridges between all actors involved: we are eager to promote this approach. As have already done so in June with the OpenCamp in Rome, the first Italian event on open innovation. Today we support Sharitaly, which is for the first time bringing together some of the actors of the Italian so-called sharing economy - including OuiShare - with large foundations, universities and some policy makers. As you may know, OuiShare has been recently active in the construction of a group of Italian Connectors, so don't miss our summit in Brussels if you are interested in joining the organization and scaling the impact of our initiative in Italy.
