After two very successful editions with over 130 applicants each year and winners chosen by the crowd, the OuiShare Awards are back this year with new award categories and an attractive prize from the OuiShare community. Guess what? It’s time for you to apply!
The OuiShare Awards aim to put exceptional collaborative economy initiatives from across the globe in the spotlight and provide them with support to develop further. The award ceremony will take place during OuiShare Fest in Paris, May 20-22 at the Cabaret Sauvage. All nominees will be invited to the festival to present their projects.
OuiShare Awards 2015: rewarding change-making initiatives!
This year, the OuiShare Awards will celebrate Collaborative Economy initiatives that contribute to change, however we call it, “transition, transformation or shift”. They aim to show case the diversity of projects within the Collaborative Economy and depict the wide range of impacts they have, from solving social and environmental challenges, to disrupting sectors and shaping new cities.
4+2 Award categories
4 main awards will be given this year:
- Collaborative Consumption Award
- Collaborative Production Award
- Collaborative Finance Award
- Collaborative Governance Award
New this year, we have two very special awards to reward specific initiatives that are in line with current OuiShare projects:
- The POC21 Award will be dedicated to Open source solutions for sustainability.
- The Sharitories Award will be given to an initiative with high local impact, that supports the emergence of the collaborative economy on a regional level.

The prize: a deceleration week
All winners will benefit from a collective deceleration week in France, a true learning and networking experience. This week is organized with mentors and key experts from the OuiShare community and its partners!
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from all types of projects, including startups, nonprofits, public initiatives... Note that initiatives should have a proof of concept, and have received less than 1 M € funding. Plus, applications are open to project leaders as well as friends and supports who can directly nominate projects.
How can we apply?
Applicants are asked to fill out an application in which they detail the change they bring and embody, plus how well they put into action the OuiShare values. >> To do so, it’s easy: you just need to fill in this form before 12pm on March 31st!
What are the next steps?
1. Pre-selection process
After March 31st, all applications will be evaluated by a jury of experts from the OuiShare community, leading to the selection of the nominees. See more details on the selection process.
2. Open online voting
Everyone will be invited to vote for their favorite initiative online, until the last day of OuiShare Fest.
3. Pitch sessions and offline voting
Nominees will be invited to pitch their projects during OuiShare Fest, followed by offline votes from attendees. Both - online and offline votes - will be taken into account to select the final winners.
4. Award Ceremony
